The 16th annual Spring Thaw event, will join the US Cup Calendar as an official Kenda Cup Qualifier round allowing riders to try and qualify for the US Cup Invitational Shootout in early September.

The Spring Thaw is in the heart of mountain biking in Southern Oregon, and offers some of the best single track and terrain west of the Rocky’s.

Cross Country

Course Description: Category 3 Short Course: 9 Miles
Pro, Category 1 & 2, Single Speed & Clydesdale Long Course: 23.5 miles

Downhill

Course Description: The Downhill begins at Four Corners high in the Ashland Watershed. The course takes place entirely on the Catwalk Trail – 1.7 miles of adrenalin rush to the bottom where it intersects Toothpick Trail. This course has plenty of technical sections, tight switchbacks, a couple of all-out straight sections, and the last 60 yards is a slight uphill to the finish – a little bit of everything thrown in to even out the competition.
