The Youth Bicyclists of Nevada County Foundation is excited to present 2010 Loma Rica Ranch Mountian Bike Race to the Northern California and Nevada. A ride or race benefit (just be on your bike!) to ensure that kids have safe roads and great trails. Proceeds from this event will go towards support for school bike club programs in Nevada County. This event offers both recreational and competitive cyclists the opportunity to participate in a fun and well organized event. Loma Rica Ranch is located in Grass Valley, California. Race times start at 8am and finish by 1pm. Participants and spectators will be able to enjoy the gorgeous landscape of Loma Rica Ranch. Bike clinics, local food vendors, music, etc, are planned to make this a fun day for everyone! Riders and non-riders welcome!

License: USA Cycling
Course Description: Debuting 5.8 miles of new mountain bike trails at Loma Rica Ranch, Grass Valley, California. 700 ft/ climbing per lap. Trails were create summer of 2009, over 900 volunteer hours by under YBONC’s Trail Stewardship Program of teen club members, parents, contractors, and local non-profit volunteers. Hilly course is on a 127 acres parcel with amazing flowy single tracks among stands of old pine and madrone stands. Loma Rica Ranch is a gorgeous landscape to experience the outdoors. And, remember to bring your cow bell to cheer on riders!

9:00-10:30am – Beginners, 1 Lap 10:30-12pm – Intermediate, 2 Laps 12-1:30 – Pro/Experts, 3 Laps.
