Race Details
This event has 5 races:
- CROSS COUNTRY : All riders will race on the now infamous (or famous?) “long” loop – this classic 20 + mile Utah mountain bike loop consists of some of the most remote and breathtaking race trails in southern Utah. The 2008 course will be the same course as used in 2006 when the National Series last visited Brain Head.

- DOWNHILL : The FOX Racing SHOX downhill course is new – re-built and redesigned in 2007 – the new course features much of the same fast ski trail sections, challenging rock gardens, twisty, turny tree sections and a finish in the base area.

- SHORT TRACK : One of the most popular, spectator friendly short track circuits the National Mountain Bike Series visits – this circuit features a good mix of pavement and dirt, a short steep climb up a ski trail, a 180 degree turn at the top and a gnarly single track descent that challenges the most experienced short track racers.

- DUAL SLALOM : Think of gate style on mountain bikes – side by side racing through a series of gates – over jumps and around berms. Check out the Dual Slalom Finals on Saturday night featuring the best of the best!!!

- SUPER D : Super D is the race – if you like pack-style racing and a Le Mans start. Never the same – the start features a run to your bike, (or a few other special challenges) and then it is side by side through some of the most challenging and fun trails racers will see at the Finals!!!
