Are you ready for 12 hours of mind blowing competitive downhill? Cap of your 2010 MTB season in a fury! Red Bull Final Descent is a 12-hour endurance downhill (extreme) mountain bike challenge on the gnarly terrain in Trestle Bike Park at Winter Park and Angel Fire Resorts geared to sport-, expert- and pro-class mountain bike riders. The rider, duo or team to complete the most laps down the mountain in 12-hours wins their class and a grip load of prizes— an amazing weekend for spectators and riders alike.

$5000 cash paid to top finishers at each event in all categories, plus prizes from our industry partners Smith, Troy Lee Designs, Dakine?, NiteRider. A $500 cash purse goes to the series top pro male and female rider who completes the most laps in a combined total from both events all other class series top finishers will receive a $120 cash prize.
Cash prizes for each event are as follows:
Pro Solo Male: 1st $500, 2nd $250, 3rd $100
Pro Solo Female: 1st $500, 2nd $250, 3rd $100
Expert Solo Male: 1st $300, 2nd $200, 3rd $100
Expert Solo Female: 1st $300, 2nd $200, 3rd $100
Pro Duo, Mixed: 1st $300, 2nd $200, 3rd $100
Expert Duo, Mixed: 1st $300, 2nd $200, 3rd $100
Team (3-4 riders) mixed: 1st $300, 2nd $200, 3rd $100


Cost: $70-$80 Per Rider
Course Description: The optional downhill courses will be utilized simultaneously from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. Courses will be taped and marked, closed to the public, patrolled and marshaled. Terrain will be varied from rocky, technical riding on a Fast course (Trestle Downhill), to flowier, slower riding on a “recovery” trail (The Boulevard) . All trails are for advanced riders, and it is the rider’s discretion to which trail they will use for each DH lap.
