Enduro is a form of motorcycle sport run on courses that are predominantly off-road. Enduro consists of many different obstacles and challenges. The main type of enduro event, and the format to which the World Enduro Championship is run, is a time-card enduro, whereby a number of stages are raced in a time trial against the clock.
This is not a real enduro, and we are not getting a visit from the easter bunnies. I am borrowing elements from both and morphing it into one unruly and exceptionally fun bicycle race/ride/thing. I’m going to use a lot of motorcycle terms that I don’t fully understand to reference things because they have some obscure relevance, create alliteration, and are festive. This is supposed to be silly, ridiculous, and fun. Don’t take it serious, but seriously consider doing it.
This is where the enduro reference comes in. Your lap is timed, but it’s not necessarily the fastest racer that wins. You get 1 point for every second that you are on course. You can pick up easter eggs on course to receive time bonuses. Eggs will be color coded. For example a blue egg might get you 5 seconds off your overall time and a yellow egg might get you 2 seconds off your overall time.
