Pounding beats, centralized start/finish area, great sponsors & a vibe like few other races in the nation! 6 Hours of Power is Western New York’s Endurance Mountain Bike Race of the year and is open to solo riders & two-person tag teams. Competitors vie for the most laps completed during this 6-hour time frame on our world-class 10-mile course of gnarly single track, challenging climbs, blistering connector trails and white knuckle rocky sections & downhills. Bring an EZup & set up a pit area just following our centralized start/finish area. Each lap features 1,100 feet of elevation with plenty of room to pass or put the hammer down. Our course features 65% single track, 20% double track, 15% fire road/ski connector trails. Our speedy awards ceremony after the race sends our guests on their way in time for a good nights sleep, and very tired legs. Post race raffles & door prizes as well. Post-race pasta party to all entrants. Custom 2008 event t-shirts to all pre-registered riders and as they last on race-day. Additional meals available on race-day: just order before 1pm. Rain or shine 6 Hours of Power is a ripper! 2008 will feature a few new cool changes including an open single speed class and our Kids race: 6 Minutes of Power. Those who have raced 6HOP know the ropes: Prep for a whopper of a day, those with the guts to give it a whirl we warn you-You’ll be hooked for life! Held at Holiday Valley Ski Resort.
