Our annual cycling festival weekend is held in beautiful and serene Allegany State Park in Salamanca, New York. The Camp Allegany region of the park is our home base and cycling for all skill levels, age groups and disciplines is the name of the game. Bring the family, bring your racing skills or just come and experience the thrill of cycling in a fun and friendly competitive environment. Hundreds of cyclists and spectators enjoy the well-oiled presentation of the annual Raccoon Rally. Join us! The Raccoon Rally hosts several events that cater to all skill levels. From first timers through regional professionals the Raccoon Rally will turn your gears! On Saturday come celebrate our Trials events at Thunder Rocks, try our Road Race around park paved roads on our 24-mile lap, experience downhill challenges on the face of Bova Ski Hill and give your best shot at our STXC event. Sunday is our blockbuster XC race with courses that challenge beginner, sport and expert distances.
Our event midway area hosts our terrific local sponsoring shops where you can find some great deals on parts, bikes & equipment. Need a tune-up on your bike? Plenty of tech’s will be on-site to tune your ride. Skills clinics, repairs, great food, refreshments, great friends-that’s what it’s all about at the Raccoon Rally.
