ROCK the RIDGE benefiting LIVESTRONG (EFTA-Sanctioned Race) (2011)

On Sunday, September 18, we will be riding an EFTA Sanctioned Mountain Bike Race & Fun Ride at West Rock Ridge State Park to fundraising for the Lance Armstrong Foundation (LIVESTRONG) in honor of 28 million people across the globe living with cancer and in memory of those who have been lost to this terrible disease.

Every registered rider will receive a gift bag full of cycling goodies, gift certificates and other items, be entered to win prizes, and a LIVESTRONG wristband. Additional LIVESTRONG wristbands and other items will be available to those who choose to make donations to the Lance Armstrong Foundation.

In addition to the race, there will be a fun ride in the morning and other surprises! Be sure to bring friends and family to enjoy the festivities while you ride!

All riders and racers are asked to try and raise funds for LIVESTRONG. The individual that raises the most will be awarded a special Yellow Jersey as well as recognition at the event. Fundraising details will be sent to you after registration.

Cross Country

Cost: $18
Course Description: A single lap is approximately 8 miles. Elites will ride 4 laps, Experts will ride 3 laps, Sport will ride 2 laps, Novices, Clydesdales will ride 1 lap. Terrain covers EVERYTHING – from pavement to singletrack to gnarly technical bits and serious downhills.
