Mountain Bikers of Santa Cruz is proud to present the Fox 3rd Annual Santa Cruz Mountain Bike Festival, coming to Aptos Village, CA April 14-15, 2012 — the weekend before the Sea Otter Classic!

A variety of mountain biking events and competitions that represent cycling in Santa Cruz county will be offered. Register by March 25 & save! Online registration closes Wednesday, April 11 at 11:59 pm PST.

Enduro

Cost: $80
License: No
Course Description: Bell Super Enduro at Demo: First legally sanctioned race at Soquel Demonstration State Forest! Physically and technically challenging course featuring 3 untimed climbs, and 3 timed descents. Application to race required. Apply by 2/17/12 11:50 pm PST. Registration is now closed.

Short Track

Cost: $30-$50
Course Description: Specialized/Scotts Valley Cycle Sport Short Track: a timed circuit race around a ½ mile cross-country course.

Trials

Cost: Free-$40
Course Description: 831 Jump Contest — a dirt jumping competition judged on execution, style & tricks.

Trials

Cost: $30-$50
Course Description: Pump Track Pandemonium — competitors pump through perfectly apexed berms and are scored on the faster of 2 runs.

Clinic

Cost: $60
Course Description: Pump track and mountain bike skills clinics taught by pro riders Tammy Donahugh and Kat Sweet.

Clinic

Cost: Ages 3-12 Free! (no pre-registration required)
License: N/A
Course Description: Specialized/Scotts Valley Cycle Sport Kids Rodeo – Introduce your kids to mountain biking or encourage them to improve their skills.
