|Midwest, womens mountain bike clinic brown county lessons skills instruction ride cycle bicycle|
Learn new mountain biking skills using the proven methods of the International Mountainbike Instructor Certification (www.beimic.com). Participants also have the opportunity to look at new products, talk with experienced women in the cycling industry, and learn about the importance of trail advocacy, safety and etiquette.
The event is held annually at Brown County State Park in beautiful Nashville, Indiana. The world-class Brown County mountain bike trail system has been built entirely from scratch for mountain bikers by mountain bikers, and it is the perfect trail system for beginners and advanced riders alike. In 2009, Bike magazine named Brown County as one of the top 33 trails in North America, and it was recently included as part of the 2011 class of IMBA “Epic” locations.
Event participants enjoy an entire weekend of camping, cookouts, mountain biking, product demos and more. We welcome anyone to attend who is interested in learning new mountain biking skills, whether they are someone who plans to race or someone who just wants to enjoy a day riding in the woods. Our participants will learn new techniques and gain confidence on the trail no matter what their personal riding goals may be.
