The Sub-9 Super D features a 5.5 mile, singletrack course that includes 4 miles of fun, fast downhill and only 1.5 miles of short, easy climbing. The Sub-9 Super D is the premier super D event in the Midwest, and it attracts professionals as well as the fastest local and regional riders. The race includes exciting spectator areas as well as the SRAM Speed Trap. The 2012 event will also include a new klunker coaster brake category!
This event takes place at Brown County State Park in Nashville, Indiana. Brown County State Park was recently included in the 2011 class of IMBA “Epic” riding destinations. In its March, 2009 Trails issue, Bike magazine named Brown County one of the top 33 trails in North America and listed it runner-up to Park City, UT for “Best Trail Network” (www.browncountymountainbiking.com). There is also a sprawling participant campground that has direct access to twelve additional miles of gorgeous, flowing single track that is not used on the race course.
