35 Miles of extremely challenging S/T and about 6,500’+ of climbing. Currently Levi Leipheimer holds the course record of 2hours, 57minutes. Ouch.

We’ve added a short-course option for 2012 for those of you intimidated by the difficulty of this 35 mile loop.

Cross Country

Course Description: The SoNoMas race course is 34.5 grueling miles of steep terrain. Very few people ride the entire course. The weather this time of year can be extremely hot. In the case of bad (HOT) weather the course will be abbreviated to around 25 miles for the safety of both riders and support staff.

  • LONG ROUTE: 34 Miles, 7,000′
  • SHORT ROUTE: 24 Miles, 5,500′
