The Knickerbocker 50 Mile and 8 Hour MTB Race will be held on October 10th, 2009 in Cool, California. The race will be divided into two options – 50 Mile and 8 Hours.
Marathon

Description: This course is 12.4 miles with 1750ft of climbing per lap. Racers will be running this course clock wise leavening the parking and staging area. Click here for course map: http://trail.motionbased.com/trail/activity/7906683
The 8 Hour race is open to 200 racers and the 50 Mile race is open to only 100 racers. The Tandem World Champions will be going on in conjunction with this event. Tandems racers will be racing on some parts of the 8 hour course. Tandems go off at 10:30AM.

Race starts at 9am for both 8 hr and 50 mile. Race meeting at 8:30am! “There is no RV or any over night camping here at the Oldstead loop trail system area…Make sure you have no glass bottles and take all your trash out,”
