The Knickerbocker 50 Mile and 8 Hour MTB Race will be held on October 10th, 2009 in Cool, California. The race will be divided into two options – 50 Mile and 8 Hours.

Pre race registration can be done at Auburn Bike Works in Auburn on Hwy 49 on October 9, 2009 starting at 10:00AM to 5:00PM. Race registration opens on race day at 7:00-9:00AM in the morning.

The 50 Mile and 8 Hour race starts at 10:00AM on October 10, 2009.

The 8 Hour race is open to 200 racers and the 50 Mile race is open to only 100 racers. The Tandem World Champions will be going on in conjunction with this event. Tandems racers will be racing on some parts of the 8 hour course. Tandems go off at 10:30AM.

Miscellaneous Information

Gas, Banks and Stores can be found in the town of Cool, California. There is no lodging in Cool, but lodging can be found in Auburn, California (approx 10 miles from the event).

Eight Hour

Cost: $60 - 8 hour
License: No

Cross Country

Cost: $40 - 50 Mile
License: No
