Chippewa Valley Firecracker (2008)

Saturday, set up your tent at our on-site campground and pre-ride the Firecracker course. The race this year is again taking place on the rolling, twisting trails of Lowes Creek County Park. Much of the course is the same as last year with a few changes including a longer, more challenging single-track climb. The creek crossings, fast ski trail and tight single-track will still be the highlight of the course… we’re not going to change much of a very well liked course. After our popular all-you-can-eat pasta feed (still only $5), settle in for a campfire and watch a movie on our 25’ screen. Sunday, you will be treated to the best Firecracker yet! You can’t find a better breakfast than what you can have at the Firecracker and still just $5 for all-you-can-eat. Back is the Leader-Telegram Mist Tunnel, plus, new for 2007, is the Racer Lounge. Your entourage can cheer you on from our new easy access Fork-In-The-Road viewing area. After you wear yourself out winning your race, join your co-riders at the Racer Lounge and relax with a free post race meal, massage, and cool down tank all under our huge tent.
